Carole-Maud Hofmann

Carole-Maud Hofmann joined Portas Capital AG as Partner. She advises wealthy private clients and families. Carole-Maud studied at the Hochschule St Gallen and holds a master’s degree in finance and controlling. She began her career in equity research at Julius Baer & Co AG in Paris. She later worked for Ernst & Young AG consulting clients.

In 2005, she started working for Glencore AG in Zug (Switzerland) working on hedging, shipping, marketing and trading Aluminum.

She quickly became an expert in the international markets. One of her special capabilities as a partner of Glencore AG were options strategies on commodities and foreign exchange.

In 2010, she started working in wealth management and foreign exchange. In her free time, Carole-Maud Hofmann is heavily involved in global charitable work. She is a member of the Executive Board.
