Prof. Dr. Rolf Schären

President of the Board of Directors

Since 7 July 2026, Prof. Dr Rolf Schären has chaired our Board of Directors. Mr Rolf Schären holds a doctorate in business administration and was for many years a member of the executive board of the FHNW School of Business and a professor of financial management.

Mr Schären has many years’ experience as a member of boards of directors, for example at Limmattal Hospital, where he served for 16 years, and as the delegated Chief Financial Officer for the City of Dietikon. He has been a member of the EKZ Board of Directors since 2014, serving as Chairman since 2021, and, from 1 May 2026, he will chair the Board of Directors of Limeco, the waste management and district heating provider for the Limmattal region.

Mr Schären will support our company with his experience in strategic corporate development and risk management, as well as his network.
