Markus Lumpert has more than 36 years of extensive banking experience, including 28 years as Asset Manager and Private Client Advisor. He is a certified banking specialist. He began his career as a Junior Portfolio Manager with the Swiss Volksbank in Zurich. Then he worked 7 years for the J. Henry Schroder Bank AG, Zurich, first as a Junior and later as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Investment Advisor, and a further 3 years at the equally renowned LGT Bank in Liechtenstein, Zurich, in the same function. For 14 years he was in charge at the J. Safra Sarasin AG, Zurich, as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Investment Advisor for national and international private clients and headed most recently the Department IAEZ / External Asset Managers in the rank of an Executive Director. As a partner in the team of Portas Capital Ltd., Mr. Markus Lumpert advises international as well as swiss private clients in financial matters.
